Dual Boot Woes (long version)
It's not just a black screen. It is completely dead. The keyboard lights don't work and remote logins stops working too. In the end, I reinstalled the 2.4.4 kernel from 7.2. That works fine. There is obviously something seriously wrong with the kernel shipped in 7.3. I'm not the only one having problems either.
